GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

With cartridge filters, diamaceous earth filters:

1. Dismantle D.E. filter or take-out cartridge and hose filter elements to remove any loose debris.
2. Add 250g of the product to 50L of water in a garbage bin (or similar).
3. Place the filter elements in to diluted product solution.
4. Allow to soak for 24 hours for best results.
5. Rinse thoroughly and reassemble filter, then resume normal filtration.

With sand filters:

1. Turn off filtration system.
2. Undo filter cover.
3. Add 500g to filter housing. Mix where possible. DO NOT ADD TO POOL WATER.
4. Allow to stand for 24 hours.
5. Backwash filter thoroughly. Follow up ‘RINSE’ cycle for 10 seconds (if available).
6. Resume normal filtration.
